You love your dog and let him feel it? Maybe not always. In fact, there are some things that many dog owners do, who unwillingly break their four-legged friend's heart. Which are these, read here.
Some behaviors that are very clear to humans can not be understood by dogs. This may result in your doing wrong to your dog without intending or noticing it. So you do not accidentally confuse or offend your dog, you should avoid the following things if possible.
1. "Come here!"
"Come" - this exclamation knows every dog. And most of them follow immediately, because they know that they are doing their owner a favor and that he is pleased about it. Often they even get a reward for it - in the form of pats or treats. It should be that way.
But sometimes pet owners also call their dog to subject it to unpleasant things - such as bathing it. Your animal friend then does not know why, when he has followed so faithfully, he will be punished - and that breaks his heart. So: Never use the faithful behavior of your four-legged friend for unpleasant things!
2. Allow people to jump in to greet you
Of course, it is sweet when your dog almost flinches with joy when you return home, and he jumps wildly at you. This behavior, however, can break the heart of animals when finally rejected. Because not every person is happy about such a greeting, but may consider this bad manners. If a dog is so frightened rejected by other people, when he starts happily, he no longer understands the world - and that hurts!
3. Press the dog's nose into the heap
The best way to educate the dog is to reward it for its outdoor business. Show him that you are happy, and he will remember what he got this attention for, and show the desired behavior.
The punishment of unwanted behavior usually does not work in return. Scold your dog when he's in the house, or even stick his nose in the heap or puddle he left behind, just make him afraid of you - and that breaks his heart. In the worst case, this can lead to behavioral problems, such as lack of housekeeping.
